By Doug Lowe with Ryan C. Williams from "Word 2010 All-in-One For Dummies"
The Word 2010 Track feature allows an editor (or several editors) to alter a document while maintaining the integrity of the original. Each editor’s changes have a different color, making it easy to tell who made what edits. (Also, if you hover the mouse over a change, a box appears containing the editor’s name, the date and time of the edit, and the edit itself.)
Remember
All the track-changes functions you will ever need can be found in the Tracking group on the Review tab of the Ribbon.
To operate the Track Changes feature, follow these steps on the next few pages.
